Don Dannecker has been photographing products, buildings & people for over 36 years.
He graduated from Alfred Technical College with a degree in Visual Communications. With a strong
desire to pursue photography he attended Rochester Institute of Technology receiving a degree in
Professional Photography.
With his technical education he was approached by a large food retail corporation in up state New York to
design and implement their in-house photography studio/ lab facility to satisfy all their corporate and
advertising needs. The necessity for food styling was needed daily so Don pursued additional education at
The Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park to study from some of the best food stylists in the world. His
specialty by far is illustrative food as an art form. Don’s work has been published internationally in food,
beverage, and architectural magazines & publications. He has won many awards for his expertise, and has
taught his trade to many..
After 15 years of working in the corporate world, Don decided that making his mark on the industry would
best be achieved by owning his own full service studio. Izon Productions was born.. Like the name implies
“eyes on” is what he offers to all his clients. A unique style & visual eye appealing photography. The majority
of his clients today are manufactures, colleges, and many small to medium size businesses that need that
advertising guidance. It’s being in the advertising environment for so many years that allows Don to have a
full understanding of all facets of selling a product or service. Whatever type of photography is required Don
has years of experience in shooting photographic images in many different environments. Don has found that
offering these skills is what allows his clients to build confidence in what Izon Productions offers. A full service
studio for all their creative needs.
When not working Don’s passion is snowmobiling, restoration of classic muscle cars, and spending time with
his wife and two beautiful daughters.
